Law.com reports.. Cyril Amarchand’s legal tech incubator Prarambh, launched in 2019, has graduated JRTC Intern, Leegality, and LegalMind from the seven-month mentorship program.
Indian law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas announced that three startups have completed a 7-month mentorship program with the firm’s legaltech incubator and are ready to go to the market.
The three—JRTC Intern, which pairs law students with internship opportunities, Leegality, which digitizes and automates document signing and stamping, and LegalMind, an artificial intelligence-powered research tool—were the first batch of startups selected by Prarambh, the firm’s Delhi-based legaltech incubator.
“COVID-19 has disrupted the normal functioning of both law firms and our clients. The demand and uptake of technology has accelerated,” said Cyril Shroff, managing partner of Cyril Amarchand. “These are redefining the dynamics between all these stakeholders, and necessitating the need for across the board implementation of technology.”
